WE HAVE A NEW PROJECT IN THE DRYDOCK!!!
WE SAIL INTO THE FUTURE WITH A NEW BOAT!!!
I INTRODUCE YOU: M/Y LYRA
Lyra is the musical instrument invented by Mercury, son of Jupiter and Maia (one of the Pleiades): with its melodies he enchanted gods and humans. He built Lyra with the back of a turtle and put 7 strings on it, as many as the Pleiades.
Lyra is the constellation of the northern sky, close to the Milky Way, between the Swan and Hercules. The brightest star is Vega. Observed by already Ptolemy, by the Arabs it was represented by an eagle with closed wings, ready to rush to capture the prey.
The name of a boat is important, it contains dreams and expectations that nourish its history, a long journey, from when its “idea” and its desire lighted up in the imagination, during its design and construction in the shipyard.
The name encloses what is expected and desired for her and her future. In the M/Y Lyra there are enchanting night skies, music, courage, resourcefulness; a generation of workers and shipowners have placed there the experience gathered in so many years of navigation in the Red Sea and the next generation has placed there the enthusiasm, resourcefulness and the momentum of youth.
So here is “Lyra”, a 47 m boat, elegant, roomy, which will offer a prestigious welcome, in the name of comfort and safety. It will be highly self-sufficient for the capacity of its diesel and fresh water tanks.
M/Y Lyra has three engines for long and medium navigation. Its size will allow you to navigate along particular routes, stopping in the most interesting and coveted destinations throughout the Red Sea and, who knows… what other seas…
M/Y Lyra was built in Rashid, Egypt, where it is still located today to finish some of the details of its layout.
